Dr. Patrick D. Christopher is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced fellowship training in cleft and craniofacial surgery. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to both children and adults, helping restore function, confidence, and quality of life through specialized surgical treatment.

Dr. Christopher proudly serves as the Medical Director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where he provides highly specialized care for patients with complex craniofacial conditions.

He completed his residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at Charleston Area Medical Center. His advanced training allows him to treat a wide spectrum of conditions from birth through adulthood.

His clinical expertise includes cleft lip and palate repair, craniosynostosis, and both syndromic and non-syndromic craniofacial anomalies. In addition, Dr. Christopher provides a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, and treatment of benign pediatric and adult facial pathology.

Dr. Christopher is deeply passionate about helping patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and craniofacial differences. He is honored to support patients and families throughout their journey, both locally in the Kansas City community and internationally through outreach efforts.

Beyond his work in the United States, Dr. Christopher travels internationally multiple times each year to provide cleft lip and palate surgeries to children and families in underserved regions across Africa and Central America, helping to transform lives through compassionate, high-quality care.
